An evening of fine food and entertainment awaits at Charity Dinner
Year 11 catering students are busy preparing for their forthcoming evening of fine food and entertainment as they host their Charity Dinner on Thursday 25th October at Dawlish Community College to support Cancer Research UK. Tickets available at £12.50 per guest.
Parents, Staff, Governors and the local community are invited to support the event which will be held in the Millennium Hall from 7.00 pm. The evening has been organised by the students themselves which has included designing the posters and creating the menu which consists of a three course dinner with a choice of starter, main course and dessert followed by tea/coffee. Soft drinks will be available to buy during the evening and adults are welcome to bring their own wine / alcohol if they wish.
26 students will be involved in the preparation and cooking with 12 students serving the dinner. Guests will be entertained during the evening with musical performances from Year 9, 10 and 11 students.
The young cooks are keen to showcase the skills they have been learning and developing during their course and also support their chosen charity at the same time. The College has been involved in supporting Cancer Reasearch UK in the past and most recently made desserts for the Dawlish Violet Ball which was held in the town earlier in the year.
Tickets for the Charity Dinner are available to purchase from the main reception at Dawlish Community College at £12.50 each and guests are kindly asked to confirm their dinner choices when booking. Please contact the College on 01626 862318 or email here.
