Events at Kenton Vineyard continue this year for the 3rd year of opening to the public.
Kenton Vineyard, the award-winning vineyard and winery near Exeter will soon be opening again for the summer with a new event where you can meet the winemaker on the 'Sparkling Tour'. Other local events will also feature Kenton Vineyard wines.
The events planned for Devon/English Wine Week (the last week of May) at Kenton Vineyard are as follows:
Wednesday May 27
Behind the Scenes at Kenton Vineyard: Vineyard and winery tour with the owner, Matthew Bernstein, revealing the real life of a working vineyard. Complimentary glass of wine included. Starts 3pm, ?7/person. Booking advised. (www.kentonvineyard.co.uk Tel:01626 891091).
Thursday May 28
A Sparkling Tour at Kenton: Tour of Kenton vineyard and winery with the winemaker, Matthew Bernstein, focussing on sparkling wine production, with a complimentary glass of our award-winning sparkling wine. Starts 6.30pm, ?8/person, booking required. (www.kentonvineyard.co.uk Tel:01626 891091).
Saturday May 30
We are being featured as Kenton Vineyard at Otterton Mill: Free tasting of Kenton Vineyard wines with winemaker Matthew Bernstein, together with local cheeses, at Otterton Mill, the renowned bakery, local produce retailer and craft centre at Otterton, near Budleigh Salterton.? 11-3pm, no booking required (www.ottertonmill.com Tel: 01395 568031).
For locals and visitors for the rest of the summer the vineyard is running its very popular Sunday afternnoon tours every Sunday from 31 May to 27 September inclusive, 3pm - 4pm., ?7/head and includes a glass of Kenton Vineyard wine on the terrace overlooking the vines with the backdrop of the Woodbury and Haldon hills.
