Exeter Food Bank provides food for local people in crisis. Frontline care professionals such as doctors and social workers can give foodbank vouchers to people in crisis. Vouchers can be exchanged for 3 day’s emergency basic food at a foodbank.
Through March and up until Easter there will be a box available inside Exminster Methodist Church (near the Post office) for donations of food for the foodbank. If you would like to donate, items can be brought at Sunday morning service times (10.30 am, except 18th March) or Monday mornings from 10 till 12 noon when the church is open for free tea/coffee. Thank you.
Suitable items are: Milk (UHT), fruit juice (longlife), soup, pasta sauces, sponge pudding (tinned), tomatoes (tinned), potatoes (tinned), cereals, rice pudding, tea bags/instant coffee, instant mash potato, tinned meat/fish, tinned fruit, biscuits or snack bars.
If you have food items to give and are unable to bring them at the times above please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
