Community Plan Update - Mar 2012
Written by Adam Drake Sunday, 04 March 2012 16:53
Our Community Plan questionnaire was produced ahead of schedule by printers at New Leaf Vocational Rehabilitation Services based at Hillcrest in Exminster. New Leaf’s quote was chosen from a selection of five printer quotes; it was not the cheapest but is still very good value and supports the Parish Council’s interpretation of 'value' in the social context as well as the financial one.
Questionnaires were delivered to volunteer distributors in the second half of February and they took on responsibility for both delivery to households and their collection. If anyone has not had a questionnaire, please contact us at the email address or phone number below. If you have been unable to return your questionnaire by 2 March and need help or assistance in completing the questionnaire, please contact your volunteer distributor.
The more households that respond the better chance we have that the plan will be heard, so please take time to complete your questionnaire and return it to your volunteer distributor. This is a household questionnaire so everyone in the family of secondary school age or over is encouraged to complete it.
As the questionnaires are returned they are ticked off the distribution lists by the volunteer distributors and then the front pages removed to ensure anonymity. Members of the Community Plan Working Party will collate all the text comments from the questionnaires before passing them on for scanning and analysis of responses by the Community Council for Devon. These results should be available by the end of April.
Then the final phase of work starts - to produce the draft Exminster Community Plan.
Our thanks again to all those who have volunteered to distribute (and collect) the questionnaires to households in their neighbourhoods; we just couldn’t have met our timescales without their assistance.
