Brownies at the RSPB
Written by Adam Drake Tuesday, 28 February 2012 20:20

On Sunday 19th February 1st Exminster Brownies and their families were invited along by Gemma Dunn from the RSPB to help plant tree saplings at Exminster Marshes (http://www.rspb.org.uk/reserves/guide/e/exminsterpowderham/).
The weather was kind to us and despite a chilly wind we managed to plant 250 saplings on the marshes. Over the next five years they will grow and complete a hedgerow.
The Brownies had a great time as did their families. Thanks to Gemma for the great opportunity.
