Community Groups - Village Fete
In honour of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee this year’s Village Fete will be held on Bank Holiday Monday 4th June 2012 – put the date in your diary! Plans are well under way for a fete with a street party feel to it and lots has already been organised.
There is plenty of entertainment including the return of the highly successful pet show, donkey rides, jugglers, choirs, bands and belly dancers. There will be food to make your mouth water, from Caribbean to hog roast, BBQ to fish and chips and all your favourite cakes from Coffee on the Corner!
We are hoping to have lots of stalls running – and if you would like to have a stall on the day please contact us on the number below. And finally, don’t forget our competition tent – look out for details of this in the coming months, but start growing those veg in anticipation! Plan to come early and spend the day with us – we look forward to seeing you there!

and how would one go about entering the flower arranging competition and is there only a height restriction, and when and where are the entries to be taken.
finally the sponge competition, is this just a naked victoria sponge sandwich or does it need to be decorated, and again when and where does this need to be taken, and how does one enter the competition please.
